Sharjah Heritage Museum
The Sharjah Heritage Museum is a combination of several museums:
Souq Al Arsah
An old souq, that has been restored with great charm and traditional style., it is located just behind the waterfront in Old Sharjah.
Bait Al Naboodah
The Al Naboodah family house, has been converted into the heritage museum. Built in the traditional Arabian gulf architecture and Islamic Pan-Arabian style,each room has a different theme, and displays jewelry, costumes and artifacts of the period.
Al Hisan Museum -Sharjah
The Al Hisn fort was the traditional residence of the ruling family of Sharjah built by Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qassimi “The First” nearly 200 years ago and it was the center of all developmental activities of this Emirate with its contents covering the history of Sharjah.
Sharjah National History Museum

The Central Market (Blue Souq)
The Central Market is the biggest market in Sharjah and was built according to the Islamic design. Located on the famous Khalid Lagoon, its presence enhances beauty and magnificence. The market comprises of two wings connected with tunnels replicating overhead bridges offering 600 air-conditioned shops for your shopping comfort
Al Majarrah Souq
A traditional yet modern Souq with a distinctive Arabic flavor designed by Halcrow, opened in 1987 with 50 shops and is maintained by the Municipality.
Enclosed and air-conditioned, its fusion of modern and traditional Islamic architecture is stunning and worth a visit in particular for its golden dome. The finely chiseled wrought-iron lamps also deserve admiration.
The Sharjah Gold Center
The Gold Center combines the intricacies of modern Islamic architecture with highly creative interior design. The Arabesque design of the granite floors and the spectacular skylights as well as the lovely and graceful murals painted by Sharjah based artist Eddy Miracle, at the side of the front entrance is stunning.
The center has 44 shops that unite the best of the gold shops in the country for selection, design and craft quality.

Walking distance from our hotel, the middle lagoon between Sharjah and Dubai is a favourite venue for water sports enthusiasts. In the afternoons, boat and jet skiers are commonly seen in action whilst mornings tend to be quiet and relax. The beach is clean and unpolluted for all beach goers’ enjoyment.
